THE SWEET FOCACCIA WITH GRAPES

Ingredients:

  • 700 grams of bread dough
  • 4 tablespoons of granulated sugar
  • a nice bunch of grapes
  • extra-virgin olive oil q.b.

 

Preparation

  • Work for a few moments the bread dough that will serve to prepare the sweet focaccia, using a pastry board. Form a ball that must be wrapped in a cloth. Keep it at room temperature for an hour, enough time to let it rise again.
  • Grease a pan of about 24 × 36 cm well with oil; roll the dough. Cover it with the usual cloth and let it rise further for another hour, always at room temperature.
  • Wash and dry the grapes. Once deprived of the internal seeds the grape will be “sunk” in the pasta, leaving it only to glimpse.
  • Brush with extra virgin olive oil all the surface of the dough and sprinkle with 3 tablespoons of sugar.
  • Put the pan in an oven already hot at 220 ° and cook for 30 minutes. During the last minutes of cooking, sprinkle the focaccia with the remaining sugar and turn on the grill so as to caramelise the surface and make it take on a beautiful golden color. Serve the warm or cold focaccia.
